Job Description

This senior-level remote contract role focuses on leading the design, deployment, and scaling of production-grade AI systems. As a technical decision-maker, you will own the entire lifecycle from initial model design to complex enterprise integration. You will work within small, highly senior teams of 3–5 people to build ambitious software from 0 to 1. The missions typically involve advanced work in LLMs, Computer Vision, NLP, and ML infrastructure for leading global organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling applications to millions of users or shipping AI at unicorns.
• Proven track record of building and deploying enterprise AI platforms.
• Deep specialization in LLMs, Computer Vision (CV), or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure handling billions of operations per day.
• History of working with elite teams from companies like Google, Meta, or Amazon.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering and AI.
• Senior-level expertise with production AI/ML systems currently live in the market.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as an AI Architect for complex enterprise stacks.
• Strong technical leadership skills with a focus on business outcomes.

Work Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of production AI systems.
• Build ambitious software from 0 to 1 in small, senior teams of 3–5 people.
• Act as the primary technical decision-maker for model design and enterprise integration.
• Scope, propose, and execute complex technical solutions with full ownership.
• Partner with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Salary Range

$120 – $170 /hour
