Job Description

General

The Certification Program Manager will provide comprehensive support to the Broadcom Certification program. This person will directly support the Broadcom Certification business operations by contributing to ongoing business planning, process design, vendor management, and project management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Education / Certification business process development, integration, and optimization

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Certification business operational processes

  • Manage Certification business operations in planning, coordinating, and supporting

  • Coordinate tactical marketing activities with the global Marketing team

  • Program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive-level management, complex issue resolution

  • Work with the Team to analyze, measure, and improve (or replace) existing business processes

  • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive documentation for Education / Certification business operation processes

  • Certification data analyzing and reporting skills

  • Manage and coordinate with different vendors for Business operations

  • Improve certification operations, security, and exam development/publishing timelines

  • Certification Voucher & Discount Process Management

  • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive documentation for Education / Certification business operation processes

  • Strategic program planning & Implementation of multiple certification data management platforms and user interfaces

  • Migrating certification programs due to acquisitions and vendor transitions

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Flexible to attend calls in different time zones supporting America’s ops

  • Strong attention to detail – the ability to drill down into details and ensure accuracy in deliverables

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management 

  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills 

  • Capable of working cross-functionally within the company 

  • Sharp decision-making skills, ability to multitask, work independently and prioritize 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Technical Skills Required

 

Desirable field of experience

  • 10 of 15 years of professional experience in IT customer support
  • Understanding of IT Education/Certification Program, project administration, or customer support processes

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type at least 30 wpm.

  • Ability to work independently and resolve business issues proactively

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across organizational boundaries

  • Experience in large, rapidly growing global businesses

  • Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes

  • Ability to work successfully in a fast paced, changing environment and adapt to meet constantly evolving business needs.

  • Creativity, initiative, high energy level

  • Proven people management and team building skills Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities

  • Microsoft Office

  • Basic cloud concepts/knowledge
