About the Role
Humana is on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer – IAM to join our remote workforce. If you’re passionate about coding, mentoring, and spearheading innovative solutions in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain, this role is for you! As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll work on Humana’s Consumer Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, utilizing tools like ForgeRock and Ping Identity to improve the customer experience. This role involves not just coding but leading design and development efforts, mentoring junior developers, and driving compliance with modern security standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications in alignment with business goals.
- Lead the team in designing, implementing, and optimizing IAM solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM best practices.
- Conduct quality assurance checks, oversee debugging, and implement necessary fixes.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership and guide technical decision-making.
- Mentor and lead software developers to ensure team growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Over 8 years of experience with IAM platforms like ForgeRock, Okta, or Azure AD.
- Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
- At least 5 years of experience leading and mentoring developers.
- Expertise in designing cloud-based solutions (Azure Cloud Services), RESTful APIs, and IAM integrations.
Preferred:
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Familiarity with advanced IAM tools and security protocols.
Work-from-Home Requirements
To excel in this remote role, you’ll need:
- A reliable high-speed DSL or cable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload).
- A distraction-free workspace that protects sensitive information (PHI/HIPAA compliant).
- Note: Satellite or wireless internet services are not supported for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this role ranges from $126,800 to $174,500, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. This position also includes:
