Responsibilities at Outlier
We’ve teamed up with various organizations to enhance AI large language models, aiming to improve their ability to write code effectively. These projects typically involve tackling diverse coding challenges while collaborating with these models as they develop their coding skills.
Here are some examples of the projects you might work on:
- Assessing the accuracy of code generated by AI, along with providing clear explanations for your evaluations.
- Solving coding problems by crafting functional and optimized code solutions.
- Developing comprehensive test cases to verify the efficiency and correctness of the code.
Don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience with AI! Detailed instructions will be provided to guide you through the application and verification process, ensuring you understand what’s expected of you every step of the way.
Required qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who have:
1. Spent at least 3 years working in software engineering or software development.
2. Mastery of the English language, able to communicate fluently and effectively.
3. The skill to explain intricate scientific ideas clearly and captivatingly.
4. A keen eye for detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in their writing.
5. A strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style conventions.
6. Proficiency in using one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.

- A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
