Essential Requirements

  • We seek candidates with 8+ years of experience, complemented by a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree, or equivalent expertise.
  • U.S. citizenship and a TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance are mandatory.
  •  Proficiency in Dell Technologies Infrastructure solutions is required.
  • Strong project management abilities are essential, coupled with a comprehensive grasp of secure system architecture and design principles.

Desirable Requirements

Here are the technology experiences and certifications we highly value:
  • Experience in Enterprise Servers and Storage, Client Technologies, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NAS, DAS, SAS, and TCP/IP networking.
  •  Recommended certifications include A+, Security+, MCITP/MCSE, VCP, and RHSA.
  • Additionally, familiarity with the following is advantageous:
  • Dell Open Manage Enterprise and Dell Enterprise Management Tools.
  • GPGPU Technology, Citrix, Enterprise Virtualization, Cloud Technologies, and HPC (High-Performance Computing).

  • As a dedicated support services resource for the United States Government, the role of Technical Account Manager (TAM) is pivotal. Acting as the primary point of contact for our customers, TAMs ensure seamless coordination of support activities across all facets of Dell Technologies. They serve as the go-to person for warranty support, available round-the-clock, every day of the year.
  • Beyond managing customer accounts, TAMs collaborate closely with account teams to meticulously plan and sustain Dell solutions. Their input is invaluable during the design phase, aiding in the smooth implementation and integration of solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each project.
  • TAMs also play a vital role in customer communication, providing feedback on observed issues and crafting custom support plans to meet specific project needs. Their involvement in management meetings contributes to the development of robust warranty and maintenance strategies, fostering best practices across the organization.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable to the area where the position may be filled. Compensation considers several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program Dell Technologies offers. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
