The Opportunity for a Marketing Automation Coordinator

We’re in search of a Marketing Automation Coordinator to lend support and expertise to our marketing automation platform. As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and fulfilling campaign operations requests via our intake system. This will involve handling various email communications, campaign setups, and more.

Working closely with our global marketing operations team, as well as product, campaign, regional, and partner marketing teams, you’ll utilize our martech stack, including tools like Asana, Marketo, SFDC, Splash, Folloze, 6sense, and others. Your main tasks will include managing and prioritizing the daily influx of marketing automation requests, to streamline our marketing efforts and enhance their effectiveness.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Keeping track of and updating daily projects assigned to the Marketing Automation team using our project management tool, Asana.
  2. Overseeing the day-to-day creation and implementation of email campaigns, covering everything from design to segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.
  3. Maintaining the email marketing calendar to facilitate the development and communication of email marketing campaigns, ensuring visibility in both Global Marketing Calendars and Asana project management.
  4. Making sure emails are thoroughly reviewed, scheduled, and sent to align with company objectives.
  5. Managing the technical setup and providing support for campaign execution.
  6. Organizing ongoing email programs, conducting A/B and multivariate tests, analyzing results, and suggesting necessary adjustments based on findings.
  7. Collaborating closely with Marketing Operations and Demand Generation teams on nurture streams.
  8. Addressing and resolving issues related to campaigns, workflows, data, and other essential marketing operations functions.
  9. Building and overseeing SFDC campaigns in compliance with Marketo and Salesforce.com native campaign syncs or smart campaign flow steps.
  10. Ensuring consistent delivery of error-free marketing materials.
  11. Providing daily support and answering queries from stakeholders regarding campaign and audience setup, infrastructure, and tool utilization.

What you’ll bring to the role

  1. Ability to comprehend multi-audience and multi-channel campaigns.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Database, Email, or Operations Marketing, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in Salesforce and Marketo platforms.
  4. Familiarity with various marketing technologies like Splash, Folloze, Litmus, or similar tools.
  5. Previous involvement in project management and successful task delivery, preferably using work management tools like Asana.
  6. Skilled in identifying and resolving issues within systems, processes, and data.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
  8. Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate efforts across different teams.
  9. A Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite for this role.

Salary and Benefits

Here’s the breakdown of the annual base salary range for candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. Your specific salary will be determined by factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and where you work. Alongside salary, Okta provides equity (where applicable), bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and various paid leaves like PTO and parental leave, as outlined in our plans and policies. For candidates in California (excluding the San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington, the annual base salary range is between $61,000 and $91,000 USD. For those in the San Francisco Bay Area, the range is $68,000 to $102,000 USD.
