Job Description

This role offers senior software developers high-paying, meaningful missions with audacious companies including Lyft, Pepsi, and high-growth startups. As an independent builder, you will work within small, diverse product teams to create ambitious software from the ground up. You will enjoy full autonomy, with the ability to choose missions that excite you and the freedom to manage your own bandwidth. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leaving large companies or high-growth startups to pursue high-level technical craft with autonomy.
• A preference for consistent, high-quality contract work over traditional full-time employment roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within small, high-impact product teams of 3-4 people.
• A background that includes bootstrapping side projects or testing client work while maintaining senior-level standards.
• Interest in joining a long-term micro-community of top builders for conversations and curated gatherings.

Required Qualifications

• Must have at least 4+ years of professional experience in software development; not open to recent university or bootcamp grads.
• Must be currently located in the Americas, Europe, or Israel to apply for available missions.
• Proven track record of building ambitious pieces of software from 0 to 1 in a senior capacity.
• Strong technical portfolio demonstrating what you have made and the impact of your previous work.

Work Responsibilities

• Build ambitious software from 0 to 1 as part of a small, focused 3-4 person team.
• Collaborate with world-class founders and high-growth companies on their most important initiatives.
• Scope out project requirements, provide strategic options to clients, and guide product direction.
• Execute on selected technical solutions while working alongside other senior builders to find the right path.
• Maintain high standards of execution for clients ranging from early-stage incubations to established tech giants.

Salary Range

$90 – $150 /hour
